Dr. Jeffrey A. Harvey
Dr. Jeffrey A. Harvey grew up in Kinston, NC and is a graduate of both Kinston High School and Lenoir Community College. He received his Bachelors in Vision Science from Ferris State University. He graduated with high distinction with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Ferris State University College of Optometry in Big Rapids, MI. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and both the North and South Carolina Associations.
Dr. Harvey’s clinical interests include ocular pathology and contact lenses. He has been serving the residents of Kinston and surrounding areas for over twenty years.
D. Jeffrey “Jeff” Henderson, Optician
Jeff Henderson is a lifetime resident of North Carolina currently residing in Grantham, North Carolina. He is married and has one son that attends the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Jeff obtained his license in 1989 through the Apprentice Program and started his career at Clear Vue Opticians in Goldsboro, North Carolina. In 1999, he joined Carolina Vision Care Associates where, as a business owner, he forms a close alliance with the optical community and various organizations.
Jeff is an active member of the North Carolina Opticians Association serving as Past President and Vice President, as well as serving on the Board of Directors. He is very dedicated to community and civic organizations. Jeff serves on numerous committees with the National Wild Turkey Federation, Quail Unlimited Wildlife Federation, and Ducks Unlimited. Jeff also serves on the Grantham Youth Sports Association board where he has helped to implement several programs to keep the youth involved in the community, to include coaching a youth baseball team for the past 13 years. Involvement in education is very important to Jeff as he has several family members who are educators and administrators. He has served the past 3 years on the Parent Advisory Council for Wayne County Public Schools. In addition to his civic responsibilities, Jeff has been a deacon since 1999 and serves on the board as well as numerous other church committees at Eureka Christian Church in Grantham, North Carolina.
